Little Rock are a multi -award winning band based in the north east of England. They consist of, Steve Place on lead guitar and vocals and Chris Ringer on bass guitar and harmony vocals.Starting out as a four piece way back in 1994 little rock were, Dave Wilson,guitar/vocals, Joe Bewick,drums/vocals, Steve Place ,lead guitar/vocals and Ted Gray, bass guitar/vocals. Dave left the band in 1997. As a trio Joe,Steve and ted excelled in their popularity over the next 12 years or so. Especially after becoming the main band for John Permenter (USA)from 2004-2013 .Ted retired from little rock in 2009 and was replaced by Derrick Firth (ex Dillinger). Both derrick and Ted passed away but will never be forgotten for their amazing talents and personalities. When joe Bewick decided to retire in 2013 it left steve and derrick to carry on as a duo. Derrick retired in 2014,handing over bass duties to Chris Ringer. Steve and Chris are still playing and enjoying the music they love today. They still have that big "little rock" sound that has made them so popular for nearly three decades. Long may it continue.
Boomer Mclennan and his band the Rhythm Rangers will always leave you wanting more.
Undoubtedly one of the country's top Line Dance artists which is backed up by his tremendous haul of awards. What a way to spend your afternoon here at The Old Station CMF.
